To—

Let other bards of angels sing➀，
Bright suns without a spot；
But thou art no such perfect thing：
Rejoice that thou art not!

Heed not tho’none should call thee fair；
So，Mary，let it be
If nought in loveliness compare
With what thou art to me.

True beauty dwells in deep retreats，
Whose veil is unremoved
Till heart with heart in concord beats，
And the lover is beloved.

致——

让别人去歌唱他们的天使吧，
就像太阳明亮无瑕；
我知道你并不是完美无缺，
我喜欢你朴实无华！

不要在乎是否有人叫你美女，
玛丽，一定要随意，
因你在我心上的那漂亮
那是没有人能相比。

真美总是隐居在幽径深巷，
要等两心互慕碰撞，
遂激起彼此深深的相亲相爱，
那层蒙纱才会卸妆。
